# License

Weam AI is licensed under a modified version of the Apache License 2.0 with additional terms for commercial use restrictions and contribution guidelines.

## Permitted Use

### Commercial and Non-Commercial Deployment

* Use Weam AI within your organization for any purpose
* Deploy for internal teams, departments, or subsidiaries
* Modify and customize the software for organizational needs

### Client Solutions

Build custom solutions for clients with these requirements:

* Each client must have dedicated infrastructure
* No shared or multi-tenant deployments
* Client-specific customizations are allowed

### Open Source Contributions

* Submit bug fixes and improvements
* Participate in community development
* Share modifications under the same license terms

## Restricted Use

### SaaS and Managed Services

The following activities require a separate commercial license:

* **Hosted SaaS**: Offering Weam AI as a web service to multiple customers
* **Managed Service**: Providing Weam AI hosting or management to third parties
* **Multi-tenant Platforms**: Running shared instances for multiple organizations
* **Reseller Services**: Redistributing hosted access to Weam AI

### Commercial License Required

Contact **Weam AI Pvt Ltd** for commercial licensing if you plan to:

* Operate Weam AI as a service business
* Provide hosted access to external customers
* Build multi-tenant platforms using Weam AI
* Resell or redistribute hosted instances

## Contribution Terms

### Code Contributions

By contributing to Weam AI, you agree that:

* Maintainers may include your contributions in future versions
* Contributions may be used under different license terms
* Your code may be included in commercial offerings
* You retain attribution for your contributions

### Contributor Restrictions

Contributors are subject to the same restrictions:

* Cannot offer SaaS services without commercial license
